EvoWrap

EvoWrap is Evolv’s precision tension system designed to lock your foot into the shoe for maximum power and stability without sacrificing comfort. It wraps the midfoot in a supportive cradle that evenly distributes pressure and keeps your heel and toe secure during hard pulls and micro-edging.

Unlike traditional tension bands that can create hot spots or pinch points, EvoWrap delivers a balanced, glove-like fit that enhances control and responsiveness, especially on steep or technical terrain. The result: more connection to the wall, less foot fatigue, and a shoe that performs better than you do.

TRAX® Rubber Compounds: SAS & EVO 74

TRAX® SAS (Sticky As Sh*t) is Evolv’s high-friction rubber engineered for grip on a wide range of surfaces, from polished gym holds to outdoor granite. It delivers a perfect balance of stickiness, durability, and consistency across temperatures, so you can trust every foot placement whether you’re smearing, edging, or toe-hooking.

TRAX® EVO 74 takes performance to the next level with a more refined, competition-grade compound tuned for elite sensitivity and friction. Designed for climbers who demand precision on plastic and stone, EVO 74 offers superior feedback and control when every millimeter counts.

Volume Based Fit

Evolv’s Volume-Based Fit system is built around the natural shape and volume of your foot, not just its length. Each model is designed in both medium-volume (MV) and low-volume (LV) versions to match different foot shapes, ensuring a precise, performance-driven fit for every climber.

This approach eliminates the compromise between comfort and power, allowing every athlete, regardless of foot width or instep height, to get the same secure, confident feel on the wall.

Variable Thickness Rand

Variable Thickness Rand (VTR) is Evolv’s precision-engineered rand design that places thicker rubber in high-wear zones and thinner rubber where flexibility and sensitivity matter most. By tuning the rubber thickness across the rand, VTR reduces pressure points, improves comfort, and extends overall durability, without sacrificing performance or feel.

The result: a shoe that lasts longer, fits better, and keeps its shape and precision through countless sessions.
