Adaptive Climbing

Adaptive Climbing

Supporting the evolution of adaptive climbing has been a mission for Evolv since 2007. We are proud to develop adaptive climbing technology designed to make climbing more accessible for individuals with disabilities and amputations.

Our Eldo-Z shoe was the first commercially available adaptive climbing shoe on the market. Made in partnership with TRS prosthetics and Malcolm Daly, Eldo-Z is designed to fit polymer-based prosthetic feet, bringing superior grip, protection and durability for adaptive climbing indoors and outdoors.

In 2013, we developed the EAF (Evolv Adaptive Foot), an ultra-durable and temperature resistant foot created with high-strength polyethylene and attaching seamlessly to standard prosthetic componentry. As a commercially available prosthetic foot designed specifically for climbing, EAF brings accessibility through affordability to the entire adaptive climbing community.

As part of our mission to continue increasing accessibility for climbing, EAF and Eldo-Z are available by request to climbers and organizations in need of adaptive climbing equipment, at no charge. To request an EAF or Eldo-Z, please contact us directly at [email protected].
